After filling the cavity with the shank and cork, the sole is attached, providing strength and water resistance. This construction method results in shoes that are not only long-lasting but also easily repairable, making them a timeless investment in quality craftsmanship.

"Shoe is of good quality but heel definitely slips more than usual. Quite stiff and expensive for a Chinese loafer."
"I've had these for a while. Several months but I have not worn them as much as I would like. I am a big fan of GS and I own several boots, shoes, and loafers. I ordered these 1/2 larger than my Leo lasted boots. I am a 10D brannock. I'm 9D on the Leo, 8. 5D on the Floyd, 10D on the Campus(but I could've gone down to a 9. 5D), 9E & 9. 5D on the Alexander last. The first ever loafers were the midnight suede Travelers in a 9D which killed my feet so I tried the 9E and then these I tried a 9. 5D. They're a little on the loose side but it's better than the 9E's. I don't think I've broken in these loafers yet as I have a little heelslip. I did have to stretch these with a shoe stretcher or else it would really hurt my instep after a full day of wear. I really love the way these loafers look, moreso than any other makers loafers. The moc toe stitching looks awesome in my opinion. Perfect shape. Very similar to the Ottawa's. The butyl leather sole is really nice. Feels softer than the regular leather sole but is still durable. I'm wearing them today so let's hope the instep has broken in and won't cause a welt. CFS suede is my second favorite leather. Shell first, CFS suede and then CXL. There are only 2 or 3 styles that I don't like from GS but the rest are pretty great looking. Thanks!"
"The suede is perfect! Three compliments the first day!"
"- First impression: amazing unboxing experience - Material: Perfect (Repello calf suede is soft, sturdy and easy to clean) - Delivery: Quick! It took 6 days to deliver to VN (The custom fee was crazy tho) - Sizing: Half size down from Brannock was perfect. I wish the heel cuff would be a bit more round to hug the heel securely. Light heel slips are expected."
"Fit and finish are top notch. The buttery black suede and traveler penny silhouette are a match made in heaven. It’s always a treat to bring these out. Very satisfied with these."
"Love these loafer, love the black suede. This is my 4th pair of Travelers. They are snug at first, but fit like a glove after some wear. NICE SHOES"
"Perfect fit as always. Im a 9.5E brannock and a perfect fit in 9E leo last. Also love the black suede: just a hint of dark green in the light which is awesome."
"Quality and look is fantastic!"
"Bought my first pair of Grant Stones and was immediately impressed. I sized down 1/2 a size and that was not enough. A quick email to customer service had me sorted out with a full size down replacement in no time."
