This calf penny loafer is our rendition of a dressier slip-on. This Italian Baby Calf is a vegetable-tanned leather with a higher sheen. It is very transparent, which allows profound highs and lows. It also means that any natural traits, such as growth marks, are visible. These should not be considered defects but merely the article's natural base. The raw character and high-shine finish are the beauty of this particular vegetable tannage.
Our penny loafer was created with two things in mind: versatility and comfort. It's the ultimate shoe for travel, given the ability to be paired with a sport coat or t-shirt and almost anything in between. We find ourselves wearing this shoe year-round—sockless with shorts/lightweight fabrics in the summer and with wool socks and trousers throughout the winter.

"First off, the customer experience provided by Kim was top notch! After giving her my feet measurement and different brand shoe sizes, we decided on a 7. 5 E. I have Red Wing 875s in a 7. 5 EE worn with thick wool socks. Once I received the 7. 5 E, I sent pictures to Kim and gave her feedback. My instep is quite high and I had some pressure points so she suggested that 8 E would fit me. The exchange process was easy, took about a week and lo and behold, the 8 E fit me perfectly. So excited to have these part of my rotation!"

Love the loafers
"I ordered the 8. 5E, I wear an 8 in Paraboot Bergeracs, and a 9E in most New Balance shoes. These loafers are amazing. There is a break-in period as there is with any full grain leather loafer, shoe, or boot but they are still comfortable enough right or out the box. The saddle strap area does fit my feet a little tight, but I have that issue with most shoes and boots so it is probably just me. My left foot is also slightly smaller than my right so that loafer is slightly loose, but isn’t going to bother me too much. That being said, these are the best loafers I’ve ever worn and I’ve had a few from Allen Edmonds, old Cole Haans when they were good, and a few other random ones. The slight figment issues aren’t even really issues and I know they will reduce as the loafers mold to my feet. Very excited to wear these more"
