Made with

Goodyear-welt Construction

Renowned for its durability and ability to be resoled repeatedly, Goodyear-welt construction involves stitching a welt—a strip of leather—around the shoe's perimeter, creating a cavity. After filling the cavity with the shank and cork, the sole is attached, providing strength and water resistance. This construction method results in shoes that are not only long-lasting but also easily repairable, making them a timeless investment in quality craftsmanship.

Utilizing the

Alexander Last

Explicitly designed for loafers, the Alexander Last features the classic contours and higher sidewalls of a rounded casual-comfort loafer compared to its dressier counterparts. The Alexander Last offers a sleek profile while maintaining a generous toe box, allowing your forefoot generous amounts of room.

Unlined Sand Suede

"Ultra soft suede that smells absolutely incredible. Very minimal break-in period. Have already received multiple comments and compliments on them! A great everyday shoe."

Raffi B. (5/5)

Exceptional quality. Nightmare sizing.

"I finally found my dream loafers--what I always thought they should be. Unfortunately, it took much trial, error, and wasted money to get the right size. I don't think it's Grant Stone's fault, and I don't know if there's much they could do better to avoid sizing challenges--their return policy is fair, everyone has different feet, and loafer sizing is hard. But I will share my experience in case it helps other people. In short, I had to go a full size down from 7. 5D to a 6. 5D to wear them sockless. I have been buying GS shoes and boots for years. I am a 7. 5D on the Brannock, and I wear a 7. 5D with thick wool socks for their boots, and a 7. 5D with thin socks and a tongue pad in their Oxford and brogues. Despite wanting stockless loafers, I bought true to size 7. 5D at first. These were comfortable--not snug, but not floppy when I tried them on the carpet. I thought maybe this was how loafers were supposed to fit, so I kept them. 2 weeks later, they had stretched to become uncomfortably floppy--even with a tongue pad, so I had to sell them. I tried again with 7D--comfortably snug out of the box, so I thought I nailed it. But 2 weeks later, they had also stretched to be too loose even with a tongue pad. At least I can wear these with thicker socks in the fall and winter. But in my quest to find a sockless summer loafer, I tried the 6. 5E with a tongue pad. It was uncomfortably snug out of the box, but not painful, so I thought I finally found my size. But after two weeks, even these had become uncomfortably loose, so I had to sell these, too. At this point, I was ready to give up and eat all the wasted money. But I was invested at this point, so I ordered the 6. 5D--a full size down from my Brannock. These felt comfortably snug out of the box when standing still, but after walking in them for the first week, they were painfully tight on my instep. I was worried they would be too small. But I kept wearing them around the house with thick socks to help the break-in, and after a few weeks, they fit perfectly and comfortably without socks and without a tongue pad. Finally! I had gotten sizing advice from GS via email. They were kind and helpful, but they understandably steered me away from getting a size that was uncomfortably tight at first. That's probably good advice for shoes with laces, but for my feet and these loafers, I think that advice contributed to time and money wasted by me. The problem with loafers is that they stretch and can't be fixed with tighter lacing. GS doesn't allow returns after wearing shoes for weeks--and they shouldn't--but it makes getting the right size extremely risky. Be warned! All that said, I love the shoes. They look and feel great."

Loafer love

"These shoes are delightful! Love the more generous toe box while still holding onto my heel and looking sleek! The color is even better than pictured, a bit richer and more varied."

Jonathan B. (5/5)

One of my favorite !

"One of my favorite colors!"

Diego H. (5/5)

Very happy with these.

"I've only worn them out once, but really happy with these so far. Lots of various feedback out there on size, but for me it was perfectly straightforward. Same size as my Leo last boots, or 10. 5E. I'm 11D/E on a brannock with bunions. They are just snug enough that they take a bit to get them on, but that's a good thing with loafers for when they break in. I found them ever so slightly darker than the pictures seem to be, but not enough for me to care at all. They aren't a butter or a really light sand colored suede. Closer to taupe and a great versatile color."

Jesse K. (5/5)

Love the Loafers!

"Fit is spot on. No heel slip even without socks. The loafer is just beautiful so this has been a typical Grant Stone experience!"
