Derived from our experience fitting and developing various orthopedic-shaped lasts designed for specific foot shapes, the Leo features a moderate arch, heel control, medial support, and forefront freedom. It embodies a traditional welted shoe shape while prioritizing all-day support and comfort.

"I own multiple pairs of grant stones and this is probably in my top two. It is such a great color and has a wonderful texture. You do have to be prepared for the scarring though. However, don't be turned off because it is absolutely not drastic and gives the pair just the right amount of character. Also I'd have to add that this is one of the most comfortable leather offerings to wear."

They are everything I had hoped; interesting and subtle color, very even/smooth texture, and lighter weight than the other two pair of Diesels (waxed commander and bison) due to the thinner hide. Also, I'm pleased with the welting on this pair, which is a bit narrower than on the other Diesels, and gives them a bit sleeker look. Very comfortable on first wearing, thanks to knowing my correct GS Diesel size. Very cool and sharp looking boots!"

"I really have no dislikes for this boot! I love that these are lighter on foot than my other Grant Stone boots in Chromexcel and rough suede. The kangaroo leather is very resilient - a bit like yearling leather but lighter and might I say stronger? The color works with everything - it is much more subdued than I thought it would be. Definite keepers and they are getting a lot of wear. They are my go-to boots this season and I think it will stay that way for quite some time."
