Great fit and quality

"My first pair of Grant Stones and overall I’m happy with them. The finishing is excellent and the leather is quite stiff and very transparent, with a lot of natural variation and markings that aren’t really apparent in the stock photos. I’m still undecided on how much I like the character in the leather, but it certainly gives the shoes an individual look. The fit is the standout for me. I’m a US14 Brannock in a narrow/standard width with relatively wide toe splay, and the US13D fits well. There’s approximately 15mm of length remaining, with a roomy toe box and secure heel. The footbed is comfortable, although the welt is noticeably very wide and gives the shoes a fairly substantial appearance. Shipping to Sydney was excellent, arriving in under a week. They were also nicely presented with spare laces, a mini shoehorn and a hand-signed note. Overall, a very solid first experience with Grant Stone. I’d love to see a more sleek version of this in derby form to suit formal office setting better."

"This is my first purchase from Grant Stone. As someone with EEE width feet, I am relieved to have found a dress shoe that manages to balance an elegant shape with sufficient room in the toe box. It is clear much thought has gone into the last design. Craftsmanship and leather quality is excellent. Attention to detail is evident from the stitching to the welt join. This style works well with tailoring. It might not be as strictly classic as a cap toe oxford, but for me it has a bit more character and presence, yet remains understated. I look forward to trying more styles from Grant Stone."
