I had been eyeing these

"I had been eyeing these boots for a while but I usually prefer 360 deg welted boots with speed hooks but these made me take a chance. Let’s just say they are not soft dress shoes…I have worked these boots and they like it. I hope the folks at GS will forgive me for making a few alterations to fit my eye and lifestyle but these are well fitting beautiful boots that are tough as the dragon skin they resemble. I know the speed hooks don’t match but only you and I will ever know. Don’t pass these up if you are on the fence."

Fantastic quality in a striking leather

"I am hoping to see more Minerva Box options on this and other styles going forward. The texture is absolutely epic and the color is just so rich and deep. The boots are built like tanks, but are still quite striking and refined. The soles are less bulky than pictures would make you believe. This is my first pair of Grant Stone boots but definitely not my last."

"Love the boots! The fit is perfect. Clearly great care was taken on all elements of the finish. I didn’t make an aesthetic decision and re-finished the mid-sole edge to lighten up the visual weight of boots.
