"These boots are absolutely stunning and incredibly well-crafted. The quality control is impeccable; every stitch is perfectly aligned. I’ve worn them twice and already received several compliments. They’re incredibly versatile, easily dressed up or down. They should offermore leather selections in the Garrison, I will definitely buy another pair of these and would love to see them in Horween Shell number 8. I also own many pairs of Viberg service boots and honestly these are every bit as good at a fraction of the price. Overall, I’m very happy with this particular pair of boots, as well as the others that I currently own from Grant Stone. I’ll be purchasing more in the near future."

Phenomenal pair of service boots

"The Garrison boot has been one that I’ve been eyeing for a while. Couldn’t make my mind up on Leather selection but when this last 20% off deal came up that added to the already reasonable sale price. I couldn’t pass these up absolutely love the natural wax. Commander Leather looks feels and smell. Smells phenomenal.. I’m a big fan of these types of leathers anyway and this one just hits it out of the park very easy to style can be dressed up or down truthfully I had struggled with Grant Stone for a while but now that I’ve gotten dialed in I’m really liking both the Leo and Floyd last. These are actually very easy to break in couple wears and they’re already very comfortable. I’ve got a deep rotation of boots) many of which are Viberg and Alden and I can honestly say that Grant Stone quality control is equal to or better than Viberg and definitely better than Alden at a much more reasonable price. I’ve owned many pairs of Grant Stone and sizing issues aside. I’ve literally never had a pair even in a B grade that had a stitch out of place as far as this particular Garrison boot. I could see myself wearing these very often. They just look great on foot and are very comfortable and easy to wear. Needless to say I’m very happy with my purchase and will definitely be buying more Grant Stone products."

I’ve owned a lot of

"I’ve owned a lot of boots over the years, including Red Wings, Tricker’s and Jim Green, so I had high expectations when I ordered the Garrison. They exceeded them. The first thing that stood out was the quality control. The stitching is exceptionally clean, the clicking is excellent, and the leather is beautiful. Every part of the boot feels carefully finished. They’re the sort of boots you keep picking up just to admire the craftsmanship. The leather is outstanding. It has a depth and richness that immediately gives the impression of a premium hide, with subtle variation that promises to develop even more character over time. It’s substantial and confidence-inspiring without feeling excessively stiff. The fit has also been excellent for me. The last strikes a great balance between comfort and support, with enough room in the forefoot while still feeling secure through the heel and instep. From the first few wears they felt natural on my feet, and they’ve continued to become more comfortable as they’ve broken in. The C. F. Stead Waxy Commander leather is outstanding. It has a beautiful depth of colour with a waxed finish that gives the boot plenty of character straight out of the box. It feels robust without being overly stiff, and it looks like the kind of leather that will only improve with age and wear. The last suits me very well, giving enough room without feeling sloppy. They have that reassuringly solid feel underfoot that comes with a traditional leather-and-cork construction. What I like most is the balance Grant Stone has achieved. The Garrison has the durability of a heritage service boot, but it also has a refined silhouette that works just as well with jeans as it does with chinos. They’re rugged without looking bulky, which is something I really appreciate. I’ve owned boots that cost more and boots that cost less, and I honestly think the Garrison represents some of the best value in the premium boot world. The materials, construction and attention to detail compete with brands that command significantly higher prices. If you’re looking for a boot that combines outstanding craftsmanship, classic styling and excellent value, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Garrison. It’s one of those purchases that makes you smile every time you put them on."

Great boots

"Glad the size was right since I wear size 8 sneakers and a 7. 5 in the Garrison was a good fit. The leather is beautiful and they are built like tanks. ​I just wish the tongue had a simple loop or slits. Right now the tongue slides sideways inside the boot while I walk. ​Other than that very happy with the purchase!"
