Grant Stone loafers, worth the wait
Now Shipping: Traveler Penny

We are excited to announce the availability of our first loafer, the Traveler Penny. Three years in the making, our modern take on the classic penny loafer has gone through too many revisions to keep track but the end result was worth the effort. Thank you for your patience; we hope you’ll agree!

How will the Traveler Penny fit?

Loafers come in a wide variety. Some are very soft and malleable like a slipper, where others feature more structure and thicker outsoles for support and longevity. For the Grant Stone Traveler Penny, we worked for a middle grounda forgiving fit comfortable enough to be worn all day, with an equally appropriate style for casual settings and at the office.

The forgiving fit comes from using softer, more flexible leathers for both the upper and insole/outsole. As always, footwear crafted from better grade leather and vegetable-tanned insoles allows your foot to shape and mold the shoe with wear. The particular articles we chose for our debut loafer will make these features even more noticeable. Socks are optional!

Which size should I order?

Designed with our new Alexander last, the Traveler Penny has a more aggressive heel curve and a medium instep. The toe box is slightly wider and deeper than the average loafer last. In selecting your size, we suggest following your Leo last size for the Alexander last. It runs half a size larger than your average dress shoe or sneaker. As with our other Grant Stone Collection styles, we will offer both D and E widths. The Traveler Penny comes in four colorways, one suede and three CXL leathers. Ivory suede is coming soon in the next restock shipment.
