The Goodyear-welt Tassel loafer is a staple around the world. Some feel it's a dressier alternative to the penny loafer, while others consider it appropriate Cape Cod attire. The Tassel pattern has a sense of sophistication and detail that is unique for a Goodyear-welt constructed shoe.
When designing this Tassel, our priority was creating a fuller-fitting toe box for maximum comfort on long days. The Alexander last does just that, using the instep to hold the foot in place while offering sufficient room at the toe.
This Italian Baby Calf is a vegetable-tanned leather with a higher sheen. It is very transparent, which allows profound highs and lows. It also means that any natural traits, such as growth marks, are visible. These should not be considered defects but merely the article's natural base.
The raw character and high-shine finish are the beauty of this particular vegetable tannage.

"Amazing look and construction. I love the color and the loafer fits better than my Alden penny loafer. For sizing, I normally wear US 8. 5 E in sneakers and got 7. 5 E for this loafer; it fits perfectly. My Alden's are 7. 5 D and they're a bit too narrow, so 7. 5 E is perfect."

"This is my first ever Grant Stone. I chose to get the tassel loafers because it has probably the best looking last I have seen on this classic silhouette. Nice and full on the toes which gives me a nice breathable room. Not too sharp just the way I like it. (uhuh uhuh) I've worn it once at the moment and like any other leather shoes, it takes a bit of breaking in. I trust these wont give me much of hard time with its leather soles. Currently have heel slip but I know these will mold more to my feet as I use them! Already eyeing some of the boots! As for the packaging, it is spot on. Feel really premium and even comes with a shoe horn/botte opener! Nice touch on the soft shoe bags and banded cloth cover. Overall, really great experience. Excited to wear these more!"
