"These longwings are robust! That’s the initial impression I I was provided at first glance. This was further substantiated after holding the pair in my hands and lacing them up. Once again, easy to put on/take off. Obviously, construction and finish are stellar. Initial feel was very firm, but throughout the day they broke in and softened up a bit. I’d say it still needs more wear time to fully mold to my feet. The aesthetic of the waxed suede is very unique; it reminds me of a very rich, dark chocolate. The GS signature is apparent in these shoes, and it’s easy to see they stand out from the typical cookie-cutter oxfords, brogues, and wingtips. Already looking forward to my next pair, whatever they might be!"
