The Field Boot pattern is dedicated to the long weekends spent outdoors. It has the feel of a vintage leather hunting boot, using the time-tested Goodyear-welt construction. Most importantly, leather components are used throughout the boot to create the foundation to withstand years of wear.
The shaft is slightly taller than our average boot, but the unlined shaft construction and padded collar offer a soft feel from the first wear. While the pattern and robust materials create a strong base, the key is the full-fitting Floyd last. It prioritizes forefoot freedom which is crucial for all-day comfort. The Field boot is designed for walking, working, and weekend adventures.

The Floyd last runs a half-size large. Our customers typically take our Floyd-lasted footwear a half-size down from their average size. However, if you have low volume feet, you may want to go a full size down.

"These are the most comfortable best-looking boots I have ever owned. I purchased these due to a long healing process from some broken bones in my foot and ankle, needed something with more support, and these have worked very well."

"I’ve been looking at these boots for quite a while. They are taller, still a Moc toe, they got that sole, and they are a great looking boot. The build quality is outstanding, honestly better than some “higher end” boots I own. I’m a big fan of Chromexel, and though I wanted them in black, I really enjoy this color. They do run a little large, I went down a full size, and happy I did. I would have liked speed hooks as opposed to the D rings, but in no way is this a deal breaker, I still find myself reaching for them over my other boots. Very excited to have these, can’t wait to see how they patina, it’s been quite the break in, as always worth it."

"Quality is great as expected. Common problem I have with Grant Stone is the sizing. These boots run very large. I wear a 10.5 e in Nicks, a 10.5 D in Truman, 11 D in Thorogood. In these I need to exchange them for a 10 D."
