The Elias Side-Zip boot offers a clean, smart silhouette while being a true workhorse. It features a blend of vintage motorcycle and western boot elements, providing protection from the taller shaft with the added convenience of a zipper. The zipper allows for a narrower shaft, making the boot easy to wear with most pant cuts. The clean, unadorned profile transitions seamlessly from business casual attire to your favorite pair of denim.
This Horween's Chromexcel leather is named after the Marine's N-1 Field Shoe, commonly called the 'Boondocker.’ This full-grain leather is used flesh-side out, providing a roughout texture with a fine, even nap. The 'Marine Field Shoe' leather will develop an aggressive patina; its light tan nap will mat down and significantly darken over time, transforming into a rich, deep golden brown.

THe Sexiest Boot GS has to offer
"These are my second pair of the Elias boot. My first pair was the Dune Cxl Elias but I wanted the natural cxl ro because it's like a blank canvas for collectors that love patina. I bought it mainly because I wanted indigo crocking on the boots. I bought a pair of IH666s-142ib to help speed up the process. As you can see from my photos there was a lot of crocking and it looks awesome now. They are super comfy, supportive, and has a good amount of arch support. I can wear this boot with selvedge denim jeans in indigo or black. The patina process on this boot is crazy and has become my most favorite boot out of my 16 pairs of GS footwear. I used to think the Ottawa's and Diesel's were the best boots but I found this pair after looking at it for weeks. I've looked at so many brands that offered a side zip and none of them were cheaper or the same price with the same quality. if you want a stylish boot and you are looking for a side zip boot, look no further. This is by far the best last that GS has developed. Rolling Dub Trio holds nothing over the Elias. What a sexy looking boot and I have already pre-ordered the Black Cxl because the Elias is a far better boot for the price out of everything else that's out there. Thanks!"
How can you not love this boot?
"These are my Natty RO Elias. How can you not love the way the shaft crocks if you wear selvedge denim? How can you not love the rolls in the shaft? It's super comfy to wear all day. The instep is high enough. Shaft is super supportive and out of all the footwear GS offers, it has the best arch support. I can walk all day with these boots on without the need to take them off because they hurt. These are my second pair of the Elias. My first pair are the Dune Cxl, then these, and I also pre-ordered the Black Cxl version. I have looked at many side zip boots but none of them are better than these Elias boots! I've looked at RDT, Viberg, Lucchesse, Unmarked, To Boot NY, Taft, RM Williams, etc,. Most are more expensive than these and aren't as well built as these. If you can find a better made side zip let me know and I'll be happy to try it! Give these a try and I bet you'd be super happy with them, especially these! The Natural Cxl RO patinas perfectly. Do not buy these if you don't like patina or you're someone who doesn't appreciate crocking and the quirks that comes with this boot! Congrats Wyatt and Josh! You guys did a great job! I would like to see the Jodphur makeup next using the same last. I'd be on board right away. Or make these in horsebutt or shell cordovan and I'll be willing to pay Viberg prices. They would look great in shell!"
