Have to pay for return shipping for defective boots
"These were my second pair of boots from Grant Stone. The 1st pair Diesel boots bought size 11e and they fit PERFECTLY. The 2nd pair Edward boots size 11e, the left boot fit perfect the right boot was tight. The Edward’s use the same “LAST” as the diesel. I ordered another set of 11Es and they were made properly. My beef is I had to pay for shipping to send back defective boots. Over all the Grant Stone boots are well made, They have a Great lining and wear very well. I will purchase from them again."

"I just received my boots after tracking the package from the otherside of the world. I am still buzzing with excitement. . The whole experience has been really great. Starting with the website, there are plenty of different fits, colours and textures to choose from. I really enjoyed the experience, I feel I have something truly unique. I went half a size down from my brannock measurement uk 9. 5 == us 10. 5 so went with a us10 E. I am still getting used to the shape and there is a slight stiffness, but they fit well with a little room in the toe. The packaging, presentation were amazing. I wish I could bottle this feeling. I love the beer opener and the hand signed note, with the spare set of leather laces. The leather. . oh man! The CF Stead tobacco waxed commander has so much nuance, depth and texture. Its deep and subtle and looks different from different angles. It met and exceeded my expectations. I truly appreciate the fact that this wonderfully crafter piece has material, design and workmanship sourced from all corners of the earth. . 20 years ago, I could never have bought something like this without travelling accross the globe and perhaps stumbling upon a store. - I wear a size 15, maybe size 14 ee, am I outta luck with your company?
- The only option that could possibly work is 13EEE. If you are ordering/shipping inside the contiguous US and you want to return/exchange an “unworn” item for sizing etc., you can create a pre-paid electronic UPS return label for the original item to return/refund or exchange for the desired item. * Once we process the “unworn” pair(s) we will submit a refund or exchange. It just can’t show any signs of wear (sole scuffs or vamp creasing).
- What’s the proper product for conditioning this leather?
- Using a brush that has firm bristles will help keep dust particles off and even out scuffs. Since the leather surface has a matte finish, it holds this look even after a lot of heavy wear. Scuffs and dings tend to look more natural. If it begins to look dry over time, the tannery recommends applying a WP beeswax/dubbin to restore.
