The idea behind this model was to create a last that was comfortable to wear over a long day. It is common for the Oxford shoe to be labeled as a "difficult fitter" due to the last shape and a narrower toe box.
When creating the Oliver last, we aimed to achieve a comfortable, fuller fit without compromising the traditional, sleek dress look.

"I'm new Chestnut Tan Oxfords arrived in excellent condition. The build quality and finishing is near perfect . The calf leather is gorgeous, a little more tan than chestnut IMO. 12E size fit is excellent, on Leo last I wear a 11. 5 EEE. They are very comfortable, Thank you GS. I'm going to eventually get the black and brown variant. A plain toe oxford would be a winner I'm sure. JD"
