The idea behind this model was to create a last that was comfortable to wear over a long day. Excellent Quality Shoe for Wide Feet
"As someone with wide feet, finding shoes that fit comfortably is challenging. This is even more difficult when it's a dress shoe. Most shoes now are cheaply made and only last a year or two with regular wear. I've been investing in quality made shoes that are all leather and can be resoled when wear sets in. Grant Stone has exceeded my expectations at every point of the process. Kim on the customer service team was so helpful in assisting me with sizing, and all questions and concerns. She even followed up with me unprompted after my break in period to check in on the comfort and sizing of the shoe. These are the kinds of extra touches I really appreciate. These Cap Toe Oxfords are sleek and comfortable out of the box. No pinching or rubbing at all. This has only gotten better in the 2 weeks I've broken them in. There is plenty of room in the toe box (11. 5 E) and heel is extremely sturdy. Compared to other competitors, the quality of these is extremely apparent both up close and on the foot. This is reflected in the cost of a pair of Grant Stones but it is well worth it. These are built on the Goodyear Welt making them repairable and resoleable. Put a simple terms, this $400 pair of shoes will last you a lifetime. If you're tired of how cheaply and mass produced everything has become, you've found the right business. I'm very satisfied with this purchase and will likely return for a pair of work shoes."
