The Brass Boot combines robust leathers, rugged outsoles, and all-day comfort. The moc toe is hand-sewn onto a one-piece vamp. The Floyd last features the same locked-in heel control but with higher walls at the toe box to allow forefoot freedom.
Chromexcel leather tanned by Horween in Chicago is incredibly resilient while offering unparalleled character. The hot-stuffed tannage's natural oils and waxes create an unmistakable pull-up effect and supple feel.
This boot utilizes our lug sole, which is designed for harsher conditions. The taller lugs and medium-density compound offer a combination of traction and durability.

- I typically wear a size 10 in sneaker size. My feet are a bit wide, though I usually don't buy wide shoes. I recently tried on a pair of Red Wing Iron Ranger, and found size 9 regular to be the best fit. While it was a bit snug on the sides, with a bit of stretching I assume it would fit correctly. What size might you recommend in the Grant Brass boots?

- Question on ankle width on this Floyd last: does it get wider in an E width than a D width?
- While there is some additional length of the collar, it is negligible and one really wouldn't notice the difference.
- I wear a 10.5 D in Thursday Boots. Should I order the same size in Brass Boot Black Chromexcel? Thank you!
- If you find your Thursday Boots fit nicely than the majority of our customers would order a half size down in our Grant Stone collection. Customers who fit snug in Thursday Boots, the majority of them wear the same size in our Grant Stone footwear as size for size we will provide more overall volume. We hope your footwear fits well (not snug) and provides enough volume to spread out naturally without having to force your way in through break in. We offer wider widths in the case of needing more width, depth, and length altogether.

- Thanks for inquiring! Horween does not call this tea core and it has a tan base. Horween has a milled struck through version but this is not that. You will begin to see a tan base through wear.
