Amazing shoes. From color to quality, grant stone covers the bases

I love them through and through, but I have two bones to pick.

f these boots don’t even come with them which changes the look of and I honestly desired the tan laces. I really like the tan whiskey color laces with these boots but now I need to buy $10. 00 laces with $25. 00 shipping, which makes me not want to buy the laces since shipping is nearly thrice the price.
They just don’t look the way I expected and I liked what I had expected. Nonetheless, I love these boots and they will be my babies for a long long time. I also expect the patina to lighten them a bit and the color is nicely growing on me. Thank you Grant Stone, your shoemakers are brilliant.
If I really need a lighter tan perhaps I’ll use a shade lighter crème to do so. I cannot wait to polish these bad boys!

The fit is perfect! The site says to order a half size down from your bannock but I still got 8 which is my true size and it’s perfect. Perhaps because my feet are flat I always seem to be uncomfortable in any sized down boot. I’m glad I got 8, my dancers are 8 and they fit great so I went with it and these are too. The reviews I read before buying were accurate. No need for break in. Comfortable out of the box. No problem with shipping to the Philippines too.

I feel like everyone says their feet are weirdly shaped but mine are a bit like a scuba flipper: low volume, low instep, wide at the ball and narrow at the heel. It can be tricky finding a good fit.

It was immediately clear I needed an 11D. As they break in, the facings are getting kinda close, I’ve added kilties so we’ll see how that goes. Otherwise, the fit is awesome.
